"Jigong Huang Rending" is based on the famous mythical figure Jigong in China. The real Jigong in history, formerly known as Li Xiuyuan, came from Yongning Village in Tiantai. He went to Lingyin Temple in Hangzhou and was named "Daoji" under the door of Hui Yuan, a monk's blind hall. The living Buddha in the legend of Jigong is more like a unruly figure with a broken shoe and a broken hat, but his spirit and behavior of "punishing evil and promoting good, being kind to others and sharing happiness with the world" are deeply loved by everyone.

Ding of Jigong rescued the kidnapped jade emperor, cattle and other gods and demons through Jigong, and praised the spirit of heroic sacrifice for the world.
