Introduction to Xie Dong:
Xie Dong, a researcher, is currently the leader of the molecular biology research group on nutrition and tumor.

He graduated from the Biology Department of Jiangxi University (now Nanchang University), with a master's degree from the Institute of Genetics of China Academy of Sciences, and a Ph.D. from the Biology Department of the University of South Carolina. Later, he served as a postdoctoral fellow and assistant professor at UCLA School of Medicine. Since 2003, he has been a researcher and head of research at the Institute of Nutrition Sciences, Shanghai Institute of Life Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences. In 2003, he was selected into the "Hundred Talents Program" of Chinese Academy of Sciences and won the "National Outstanding Youth Fund" in 2007. At present, it undertakes projects such as National Natural Science Foundation, National Key Basic Research and Development Plan (973 Plan), National High-tech Research and Development Plan (863 Plan), Key Knowledge Innovation Project of Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Shanghai Major Basic Research Project. Served as the editorial board of Journal of Cell Communication and Signal and Molecular Nutrition Food Research.
