Wei Zifu (Rebecca) was born in the early Western Han Dynasty. Before the Han and Yuan emperors, the Empresses of the Western Han Dynasty were mostly poor daughters, or were related by blood with the Empresses of the previous generation who were born in poverty. Because Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty respected Confucianism and attached importance to education, the Confucian hierarchy of Confucian classics was gradually accepted by the right groups. Emperor Hancheng wanted to appoint Zhao as his successor, and Confucian scholars remonstrated: "You can't carve rotten wood, and humble people can't be the mainstay."
In the Eastern Han Dynasty, The Marriage of White Tiger and Yi Tong even suggested that "to get married as a king, you must first choose from the daughters of big countries, so as to be well informed by courtesy". The study of Confucian classics was the purest in the period of Emperor Wu, and later generations blindly "studied the ancients", praising the virtue of Yao and Shun and the ancient rites of the Zhou Dynasty. It is useless to refute Dong Zhongshu's theory of modern Confucian classics that adapts to the times. He is stuck in ancient Confucian classics. As a result, Wei Zifu, who was born in humble origins, like other queens in the early years of the Western Han Dynasty, was rarely mentioned, let alone evaluated, in the history of more than 2,000 years.
Because Wei Zifu's last 38 years were not recorded in the history books, Wei Zifu, who was born in humble origins and was also a singer in the Princess House, did not have the result of "all things must come to an end" like Zhao, the queen of Emperor Xian of Han Dynasty, and there was no accusation that "Li Han and Cheng Si disappeared".
Although Wei Zifu was not praised by later generations and was once favored by humble singers, Pingyang's song and dance was passed down as a much-told story. Many folk dramas are based on the love between Wei Zifu and Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty. For her, the name "Wei Niang" has also become another name for a woman with outstanding appearance and good singing and dancing in literary works. Although Wei Zifu's life experience was humble, his 38-year-old modesty was acquiesced by later generations. Even today, when we turn to the poems and songs, the image of Wei Zifu is still the cardamom woman with satin hair when Emperor Wu first met Pingyang Houfu, beautiful and charming, and never aging.
At the same time, the appearance of Wei Zifu also brought Wei Qing, Huo Qubing and Huo Guang to the historical stage. Martial arts, Wei Qing and Huo Qubing resisted the invasion of Xiongnu and broadened the territory of Han Dynasty. Wenzhi is Huo Guangzuo's eight-year-old master [62], who abandoned the chaos in Changyi, established filial piety and proclaimed Zhongxing [64], and ruled the country and made it safe. [65-66] Although Wei Zifu was not involved in political affairs all her life, the people she promoted made great contributions and far-reaching influences on filial piety, filial piety and filial piety in the three dynasties. It is possible to "level Huan Huan and take the general at the top", "seal the wolf on the mountain and list Qilian in the county", "Although there are Duke Zhou and Aheng, why add this!" A high degree of recognition and praise, glory far overshadowed the contemporary supreme woman.
