1931July, Ma Shitu graduated from the biology department of Beiping Normal University and immediately applied to teach in Shenyang No.3 Middle School. After the September 18th Incident, Ma Shitu went into exile in Shanhaiguan and taught at Yantai Zhifu Middle School. During his teaching, he was dismissed by the school at the end of 1933 because he actively advocated anti-Japanese. /kloc-at the beginning of 0/934, I returned to Peiping from Yantai and taught in Northeast Middle School. Ma Shitu, together with patriotic intellectuals, publicized the truth of resisting Japan and saving the nation among teachers and students. He actively recommended party member Wang Tieliang, a school engaged in student movement in the North Bureau of the Communist Party of China, to teach in Northeast Middle School. Wang Tieliang soon introduced Ma Zhitu to China. Together with Wang Tieliang, Ma Shitu established a Party organization in Northeast Middle School. Ma Shitu personally organized students to carry out anti-Japanese and national salvation propaganda at stations along the Jinghan Railway, exposing the crimes of Japanese aggression against China, expanding China's influence and arousing people's anti-Japanese enthusiasm. After the outbreak of the Xi Incident, Herry Liu, the chairman of the Henan Provincial Government who always hated the Northeast Middle School, telegraphed the 29th Division of the Kuomintang on June 5438+03 to search for progressive teachers and students in the name of collecting guns at the school. Ma Shitu was forced to leave Northeast Middle School and return to Peiping, where he was a biology teacher in the Second Girls' Middle School and an adjunct professor of physiological anatomy in Beijing Sino-French University. During this period, he continued to work for the party under the guise of teaching.

1April, 937, Ma Shitu was appointed as the propaganda officer of Northeast Special Branch by Beiping Municipal Committee. Under his leadership, he successively reprinted relevant articles from Yan 'an Liberation Daily, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China North Bureau Firewire and the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China's Important Resolution on the Current Situation and Anti-Japanese Salvation, and distributed them to Party organizations, party member and progressive young students in time. In the autumn of the same year, the party organization transferred Ma Zhitu to work in the anti-Japanese base area in western Hebei. 1August, 940, successively served as a member of the civil affairs department of a specialized agency, deputy section chief, teaching director of a specialized cadre school, and county magistrate of Zanhuang County. When he was in charge of civil affairs in six counties such as Zanhuang in Taihang Mountain area, he insisted on proceeding from reality and led teachers to carry out anti-Japanese work.

1945 After the surrender on August 15, Taihang Mountain Party Organization formed the first batch of northeast cadres, including Ma Shitu, and arrived in Shenyang on June 10 of the same year. 165438+ 10/0 arrived in Qiqihar, the seat of Nenjiang provincial government, to build the party and revolutionary armed forces together with Liu Xiwu, secretary of the provincial party Committee, and Yu Yifu, chairman of the provincial government.

In the chaos, gangsters broke into Ma Shitu's room and shot Ma Shitu. Ma Shitu was shot several times at the age of 42.
