Qian Yue jellyfish, also known as Nomura jellyfish, is a giant jellyfish that lives from the Yangtze River Delta to the Sea of Japan. It's very big. The name "Qian Yue" comes from the ancient name "Qian Yue" in Fukui Prefecture.

Qian Yue jellyfish is one of the largest jellyfish in the world. When fully grown, it can reach two meters in diameter and 220 kilograms in weight, which is comparable to another giant jellyfish, the lion's mane jellyfish.
