Henan University of Science and Technology is located in Luoyang City, Henan Province. In 2002, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, Luoyang Institute of Technology, Luoyang Medical College and Luoyang Agricultural College merged to form Henan University of Science and Technology.
Henan University of Science and Technology is one of the three high-level comprehensive universities jointly established by the National Bureau of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense and the People's Government of Henan Province. It is the first batch of universities' scientific and technological achievements transformation and technology transfer base of the Ministry of Education, and the key construction of Henan Province.
2. Teachers.
At present, there are more than 200 professors, associate professors and other senior professional technicians 1200, and more than 350 teachers with doctoral degrees 1000, including more than 100 academicians1000, candidates for the national "100 million talents project", chief scientists of the Central Plains Scholars and Scientists Studio, Central Plains scholars, famous teachers, and academic and technical leaders in distinguished professor and Guangdong provinces.

The school has 7 first-level discipline authorization points for doctoral degrees, 1 doctoral degree authorization points, 4 1 master degree authorization points and 24 master degree authorization points.
Six disciplines including engineering, materials science, clinical medicine, agricultural science, plant zoology and chemistry entered the ESI world before 1%. Materials science and engineering and mechanical engineering were selected as "double first-class" disciplines in Henan Province. Three disciplines have become national defense characteristic disciplines, three disciplines have been selected as key disciplines with characteristics in Henan Province and 28 provincial key disciplines.
2. Scientific research achievements.
