Zhang Xingang, male, born in July, 1940, was born in Shenyang, Liaoning Province. Former President of City University of Hong Kong.

1962, with a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Taiwan Province Provincial University.

1964, master's degree in structural engineering from Stanford University.

1969, who received his doctorate in biomedical engineering from Northwestern University, worked as an assistant professor and associate professor at new york State University in Buffalo, New York, USA.

1976, he served as an associate professor and professor at McGill University in Canada.

From 65438 to 0984, he served as Dean and Professor of the University of Southern California.

From 65438 to 0990, he served as the founding dean and professor of the School of Engineering, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
