General situation of Liu Zhenqiu
Liu Zhenqiu (191-1997) is a native of Tianbei Village, Zhongdu Town, Shanghang County, Fujian Province. /kloc-joined the Chinese red army of workers and peasants in 0/929 and China in 0/930. During the Agrarian Revolutionary War, he served as the correspondent of the Third Column Command of the Red Fourth Army, the platoon leader and company political commissar of the 35th Division 105 Regiment of the Red 12 Army, the political instructor of the 4th Independent Division of Gannan, the deputy political commissar of the 65th Division of the Red 22 Army, the director of the 6th Regiment Club of the 2nd Division of the Red Army, the general branch secretary of the 2nd Division directly under the Red Army, the statistician of the political department of the Red Army, and the engineering company of the Corps. Participated in five counter-campaigns against "encirclement and suppression" and the 25,000-mile long March in the Central Soviet Area. After arriving in northern Shaanxi, he took part in the battle of Zhiluo Town. From 65438 to 0936, he entered the Red Army University in northern Shaanxi, and later served as secretary of the General Branch of the 5th Regiment of the Second Red Division. During the period of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, he served as the political instructor of 2nd Battalion, 685th Regiment, 343rd Brigade of the Eighth Route Army 1 KLOC-0/5 Division, the director of the political department directly under the Division, the director of the political department of the Supplementary Regiment, and the political commissar of the Shanxi Independent Detachment1Regiment. After the founding of People's Republic of China (PRC), he served as deputy political commissar of Yuanzhou (now Xinyu) Military Division of Jiangxi Military Region, chief of staff, deputy commander and chief of staff of Jiangxi Military Region, commander of public security forces of Fuzhou Military Region and first deputy commander of Fujian Military Region. Elected as a member of the Party Committee of Fuzhou Military Region and a member of the Standing Committee of Fujian Provincial Political Consultative Conference. 1955 awarded the rank of major general. Won the second-class August 1st Medal, the second-class Medal of Independence and Freedom, and the second-class Medal of Liberation. 1July, 988, awarded the first-class Red Star Meritorious Medal. 1997 died of illness in Fuzhou at the age of 86.
