1. The Black Duck Singing Troupe was founded in 1992 and is composed of graduates from the Central Conservatory of Music. It is one of the earliest harmony groups in China. Initially, its full members were Li Rong, Lu Lili, Guo Qi (who joined after Lu Lili went abroad) and Xu Xiuxia. At present, its members are Zhang, Yang and Li Meixiu. Their singing group is best at digging their hearts with beautiful and harmonious voices, shaping their singing style with emotions, formal music education and systematic professional training, and cultivating their good musical literacy.

2. 1992, Gu Jianfen, a famous musician, led a group of "92 Chinese Style" to perform in Hong Kong, which was the first time for the mainland to perform in Hong Kong. Li Rong, Xu Xiuxia and Lu Lili, who had performed harmonies, were invited, and the three of them were divided into "groups" to sing together. The performance in Hong Kong was very successful, and the three specially invited girls also left a good impression on the audience and peers. After returning to Beijing, this temporary trio retained its organizational form and named it "Black Duck" according to a joke, and the Black Duck Singing Group was formally established.

3. After the establishment of the Black Duck Troupe, Li Rong, as the leader of the Black Duck, has been responsible for contacting the performance, recording and video recording of the Black Duck and taking care of all the affairs of the Black Duck.

4. 1993, the "Black Duck" singing group went to Hong Kong again to perform with the "Chinese Style" performing art troupe.

5. 1994, the first original album "Black Duck" (also known as "River") of the "Black Duck" singing group came out, which included music works tailored by musicians such as Gao Feng for the "Black Duck" singing group, with a circulation of over 500,000 at that time. Since then, the Black Duck Singing Group has moved from behind the scenes to the stage, becoming one of people's favorite groups.
