His composition is mainly poetry, followed by prose and criticism. Appreciation of Hope in Spring

This is a homesick poem. It is characterized by selecting the homesickness caused by the white clouds floating gently outside the window after Grain Rain, so as to express the author's deep affection for his homeland and motherland. The poet uses the lyrical means of interweaving the real world and the dream world and the technique of jumping between north and south time and space to make the artistic world created by this poem extremely rich and broad. There are white clouds, fragrant rice, soft words of Jiangnan Wunong and watery eyes of my beloved wife. Although there is a touch of sadness in the poem, there is a passionate love for the old country, and there is a burning feeling of longing for reunion with relatives in hometown everywhere.

The whole poem is divided into three paragraphs, with six lines in each of the other two paragraphs except the second paragraph, which is a typical freestyle lyric poem.

The opening part adopts the method of awakening. The cloud is white, so it is described as "milk", but the "milk" here is "squeezed out". Reminiscent of the author's homesickness for a long time, because he wants to cry every year, isn't the Milking Cloud exactly the author's emotional transfer? The "cloud" was originally floating, but the author just said it was a "swim", which is also a tortuous portrayal of the long-term isolation between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait and the inability to fly. "Tired", just because the waiting time is too long, the poet's heart is tired. Instead of writing "can't be locked", writing "can't be inlaid" also shows the poet's efforts in scrutinizing words. Mosaic is more elegant and decorative than lock, which coincides with the scene of window.

Although the second section of the poem is written about "dreams", it is mainly carried out in the realistic feeling world. The poem presents a vast scene of the north after waking up from a long dream. The scene in the north is described in detail because it is not the real world. When I woke up from my "dream", I found that I had not "swam" across the coast, and I was still in South Taiwan Province Province where the rice waves were churning. I can't help feeling infinite in my heart, so the following sentence "what a long dream" appeared. Forty years is a boring number, and it is through this boring number that I sang a bitter and sad song in my heart.

The last section echoes the first section at a distance: it is about "longing for you". The poet wrote his wife's local accent and beautiful eyes in a tender style. Pupils can't "be full of underwater sound", but there is a saying: eyes can talk, so there is a basis for writing sounds here; His wife is from Jiangnan water town, and her eyes are so beautiful. Bai Juyi said in his poem that "eyes cut autumn waters", so it seems that "eyes full of water sounds" will also "cross". The charm of poetry is also produced in the application of synaesthesia.

Li Chunsheng is an important theorist of "Vineyard" Poetry School in Taiwan Province. He opposes the obscurity of poetry and advocates that poetry should be written clearly. But this clarity is not synonymous with shallowness, and his poetic ideas are fully expressed in this poem.
