The Historical Evolution of Yanghe Town
Yanghe has a profound cultural heritage. Yanghe Town, the resident of Yanghe Town People's Government, was originally named Santai Town (with Jade Pillow Terrace in the south, Phoenix Terrace in the north and Induction Terrace in the west). According to legend, General Bajie Yang of the Song Dynasty was stationed here, and there is Xiaoyang River in the north of the town. In memory of Yang, it was renamed Yanghe Town. After Yang Jiajiang was framed, everyone was implicated and renamed Yanghe Town. There is a Song Dynasty ginkgo tree in the north of the town, about 30 meters high and 4.2 meters around the tree. There are the Tomb of Princess Chongzhen in Ming Dynasty and the Ruins of Wucheng in Spring and Autumn Period in the south of Zhennan, which are district-level cultural relics protection units. In the tenth year of Shunzhi in Qing Dynasty (1653), Yanghe Village in Changchang Township in the second year of the Republic of China, Yanghe District after the founding of the People's Republic of China, 1958 Yanghe Township People's Commune, 1983 Commune has been a Soviet township since it changed its township.
