He received a bachelor's degree from Harbin Institute of Technology in 2003 and a doctorate from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore in 2009. Since 2009, he has been teaching in the School of Electrical Engineering of Zhengzhou University.

Research direction: research and application of evolutionary computation.

He presided over a national natural science foundation project, a general project of postdoctoral science fund and a special project of postdoctoral science fund. Published more than 50 papers included in SCI/EI, and GoogleCitation was cited more than 2000 times.

He is also the deputy editor of Computational Intelligence magazine. IEEE Transactions On Evolutionary computing，IEEE Transactions On Neural Networks，Swarm and Evolutionary Computation， computing Optimization and Applications，Applied Mathematics and Computation，Neurocomputing，International Journal of Engineering， Science and Technology, mathematical problems in engineering and many other international journal evaluation experts are members of several international conference organizing committees.

Member of IEEE, member of IEEE Computational Intelligence Association, member of emergency technical committee of IEEE Computational Intelligence Association, vice president of Zhengzhou University Postdoctoral Association, secretary general of Nanyang Technological University Henan Alumni Association in Singapore, and deputy secretary general of Henan Young Science and Technology Workers Association.
