Official Reply of Hunan Provincial Civil Affairs Department on Agreeing to the Adjustment Plan of Township Administrative Divisions in Hengyang County
Hengyang Municipal People's Government:
Your request for instructions on the adjustment of administrative divisions of some towns and villages in Hengyang County (20 15) has been received. According to the provisions of Article 5, Article 7 and Article 8 of the Regulations on the Administration of Administrative Divisions in the State Council, with the consent of the provincial people's government, we hereby reply as follows:
1. Agree with the adjustment plan of township administrative divisions in Hengyang County.
2. Agree to merge Jo Jiang Township and Jibing Town into an organizational system and set up Jibing Town. The newly established Jibing Town has jurisdiction over 7 established villages and Jibingtan community neighborhood committees, including Baima, Dali, Yongle, Qiao Song, Jo Jiang, Macheng, Tian Tong, Hongxing, Tongxin, Shui Ying, Jibing, Judge Temple, Songgui, Lee Tae, Shanfeng, Li 'ao and Baiguo, with a total area of 95.39 square kilometers and a total population of 4.4.
3. Agree to the eight townships of Zhangmu, Zen God, Lanlong, Banshi, Zhangshu, Daan, Xijiang, Chang 'an, Xi Du, Qiao Shan, Jingtou, Yanbei, Jin Lan, Hongshi, Jinxi, jiepai, Zhajiang, Taiyuan, Qulan, Sanhu, Guanshi and Guanshi.
After this round of township administrative division adjustment, Hengyang County has streamlined 1 township organizational system, and now has jurisdiction over 8 townships, namely Zhangmu, Yi Chan, Lanlong, Banshi, Zhangshu, Da 'an, Xijiang, Chang 'an, Xi Du, Ji Jing, Qiao Shan, Jingtou, Yanbei, Jin Lan, Hongshi and Jinjin. The resident of the county people's government remains unchanged (Xi Du Town).
