From 1975 to 1979, he won the China Wushu All-around Champion for five consecutive years. 1982 starred in the film Shaolin Temple, and his popularity increased. 199 1 year later, he starred in a series of films called Huang Feihong, and created roles such as Fang Shiyu, Zhang Sanfeng, Huo Yuanjia, Zhen Chen and Ling Huchong. After 1997, he developed in Hollywood, USA, during which he starred in many films such as Romeo Deadly, Kiss of the Dragon and The Expendables.
