Studied under masters such as Pan Tianshou, Jiang, Ye, Li Keran and Huang Zhou. 1956 entered the middle school attached to Wuhan Central South Academy of Fine Arts (Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts), 1958 moved to Guangzhou with the school, and 1962 graduated. 1967 graduated from Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts. 1978 entered the graduate class of Chinese Painting Department of Central Academy of Fine Arts. 198 1 After graduation, he joined the preparatory group of Chinese Painting Research Institute to build the research institute. 1969- 1976, once worked in Xishan Coal Mine, Taiyuan, Shanxi. 1977- 1978, once worked in the art creation group of Shanxi Provincial Department of Culture. Since 198 1, he has been a professional painter in the Chinese Painting Research Institute. 1987- 1995, assisted Huang Zhou to establish Yanhuang Art Museum, served as Secretary-General and was one of the founders of Yanhuang Art Museum.
