The main reason why I decided to study abroad is that the scientific research environment abroad is purer, the resources of the school are better, and it is easier to get in touch with top professors and cutting-edge scientific research results. My undergraduate major is food. When I decided to choose the Master of Food Science and Human Nutrition of Xinhua University, I read the resumes of professors in official website, their respective research fields and their academic level. I was really conquered by the academic level of professors. The master degree in food science and human nutrition is quite special. Depending on the research direction you want, the courses you choose will be different. For example, I am particularly curious about ultrasonic food processing technology, and I really want to know how this special technology can ensure that food will not be deformed or broken during cutting. When I applied, I found that Professor Zhou Weibiao's research field involved ultrasonic machining. I was particularly moved at that time, and I was very lucky to want to do some research with him. Professor Zhou taught me a lot of valuable knowledge in the frontier course of food processing and engineering, such as the innovative processing technology of a new generation of functional foods, which benefited me a lot.
