1978 was admitted to the sculpture department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts.

1982 graduated from the sculpture department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts with a bachelor's degree.

1994 graduated from China Advanced Workshop on Urban Sculpture of Central Academy of Fine Arts.

1998 has been teaching in the sculpture department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts.

At present, he is a professor of Central Academy of Fine Arts, tutor of master students, deputy director of sculpture department, deputy secretary-general of China Sculpture Society and member of Sculpture Art Committee of Beijing Artists Association.
