Yang Jianhua, a native of Luyi, Henan Province, was born in 195 1. He likes art since he was a child and has been in the pool for decades. He is good at landscapes, especially flowers and birds. He has held more than ten solo exhibitions at home and abroad, and has been collected by hundreds of artists from more than 20 countries and regions, including China Military Museum, CCTV Painting and Calligraphy Institute, Singapore, the Philippines, Japan, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. He has won the gold medal in the painting and calligraphy exhibition of China International Scientific and Cultural Achievements Expo, the second prize in the first painting and calligraphy exhibition for middle-aged and old people organized by the Ministry of Culture, the second prize in the Song Zhengqi National Painting and Calligraphy Invitational Exhibition sponsored by China Calligraphy Guide, the first "Huaxia Cup" national painting and calligraphy exhibition for middle-aged and old people, and the gold medal in Ode to the Red Flag for the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Institute. It also created a record of six consecutive championships in the "Newcomers' New Works Exhibition" held by Henan Artists Association. His works have been selected in China Modern Fine Arts Collection, Contemporary Painting Art, China Fine Arts Collection, China Artists Collection and * * * Centennial Birthday National Calligraphy Collection (edited and published by China Calligraphy and Painting Research Institute). Resumes have been compiled into dictionaries such as Celebrity Dictionary of Modern Artists in China, Who's Who in Contemporary China and Who's Who in the World. Currently, he is honorary chairman of China Cultural Artists Association (for life), vice president of Taihang Mountain Painting and Calligraphy Institute, member of China Artists Association, member of Henan Artists Association, and member of the 7th Luyi CPPCC.
