Wu surname is a typical Han surname, and its total population is not included in the top 300 of the hundred surnames in Taiwan Province Province, ranking 386th among the hundred surnames in Song Dynasty. Wu did not enter the top 100 in Taiwan Province province. Today, there are still Wu clan relatives in Boai County, Qinyang County and Yuzhou City of Jiaozuo City, Henan Province, Jincheng City, Hejin City, Yicheng County and Pingyao City of Shanxi Province, Huashan County, Baoji City and Chang 'an County of Shaanxi Province, Guilin City and Hengxian County of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
