Xu Rutie (elder brother) and Xu Rugang (younger brother, now name: Xu Gang), twin brothers, 1954 was born in Xiaogan, Hubei Province, the hometown of Yong Dong at the foot of Dabie Mountain, and now lives in Haidian, Beijing.
Xu's twin brother inherited strict father's missionary work from the age of five, and for the first time learned the "ninety-two methods of simplified frame structure of Chinese characters" and the "eight methods of forever"; At the age of eight, he learned the inscriptions of Wang Xizhi, Ou, Yan and Liu Ti, and recited new rhymes. At the age of twelve, he began to learn Wang Youjun's cursive script. Although Xu's twin brother was born in the countryside, he never got tired of learning China culture and calligraphy. The two brothers read widely and studied and discussed with each other. Bo Gu's skill is extraordinary. "Truth, action, seal, official script and grass" are all fine. No matter the change of calligraphy style, it begins with "rigor", which makes calligraphy art more vigorous, simple, elegant and meaningful.
Over the years, the calligraphy works of the two brothers have participated in many national large-scale political activities calligraphy exhibitions and published them in national party newspapers and periodicals. He has been invited to Singapore, Korea, the United States, Japan and other countries to participate in calligraphy exhibitions and cultural and artistic exchange activities. His works were collected by international friends, national leaders and units, and were awarded honorary certificates and collection certificates. In particular, when Macau returned to China in 1999, it was invited by the Nanjing World Expo to participate in the China Famous Artists World Exhibition. The two brothers not only won the championship, but also won the honorary title of "Top 100 Artists in China and Famous Calligraphy Artists in the World". In 2005, to commemorate the 60th anniversary of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression's victory, he participated in the Junbo and Guo Bo large-scale book fair and won the gold medal. Recently, in order to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Soong Ching Ling's death, two brothers were invited as guests by the organizing committee.
In 2003, he was employed by the Poetry and Calligraphy Institute of the Ministry of Culture, with Xu Rutie as the vice president; Xu Gang served as Deputy Secretary-General. Mainly undertake and plan national large-scale political activities, calligraphy and painting exhibitions and domestic corporate culture pen club activities.
