(Reporter Lin Yiqun) On July 25th, the first phase of Longhugou regulation project expanded the canal to divert water, and the Han River began to flow into Longhugou, washing away the sewage accumulated for many years, eliminating the foul smell that seriously disturbed the people. By yesterday, the water quality in different sections of Longhugou had been improved to varying degrees, and the odor in the ditch water was obviously reduced. The person in charge of the Longhugou Reconstruction Project Office of the city said that the current flow of the Han River entering Longhugou is about 3 cubic meters per second, and the Longhuzha at the outlet of Longhugou has also released some accumulated water since yesterday. The water quality in Longhugou has improved obviously, and it is estimated that it will take several days.
At 6 o'clock yesterday morning, the Hanjiang River water flowed into Longhugou for more than 14 hours. When the person in charge of Longhugou Reconstruction Project Office inspected along the ditch, it was obvious that Longhugou had a gratifying change: the ditch water south of Changping Road was clear and blue, obviously not seawater; The ditch water from the north of Changping Road to the Yellow River section is still black; The ditch water in the Dongxia section can already see the blue-black color; However, in the ditch water south of Zhangshan Road, the clear cyan has obviously dominated, and the water quality has been obviously improved. The 300-meter open channel at the entrance of the Han River leads north to the clear Han River. It is understood that since the implementation of the Longhugou regulation project, the municipal urban management department has paid close attention to the construction of the first phase of canal expansion and water diversion project. Up to now, the full-length 1.6km open channel for diverting water from Korea has been expanded 1.55km, and two rows of more than 500 meters have been planted on one side of the green belt. However, because the power supply department 1 100V high-voltage cable has not moved, the remaining 50m open channel expansion construction cannot be started. The person in charge of the Longhugou Regulation Project Office of the city also called on relevant departments to complete the relocation of 1 1000V high-voltage cable as soon as possible, so as to ensure the early and comprehensive completion of the diversion canal project and the smooth progress of the Longhugou regulation project.
On the day when the floodgate was opened, the change of Longhugou was clearly visible. With the continuous flow of the Han River, the sewage and odor in Longhugou will be completely removed soon, and a clear and beautiful scenic belt of Longhugou will be returned to the public. However, the person in charge of the Longhugou Renovation Project Office of the city also reminded the public that since the 50-meter open channel needs to be expanded after the relocation of high-voltage cables, the follow-up renovation project needs to build compulsory pumping stations and sewage interception projects. Before the renovation is completed, Longhugou will temporarily stop water for many times, which may have a temporary impact on the water quality of Longhugou.
