1964 was born in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, 198 1 was admitted to Peking University Institute of International Relations, 199 1 received his doctorate. Deputy Director of Peking University Center for International Strategic Studies and Professor of Peking University Institute of International Relations. He has been a visiting scholar at Harvard University, Center for Strategic and International Studies, American Union of Concerned Arms Control Scientists, tulane university, Shinshu University and Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is currently the executive director of China Nanhai Collaborative Innovation Research Center of Nanjing University.
