1965, working in a factory 13 years; 1982 obtained a bachelor's degree from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, 1984 and 1987 obtained a master's degree and a doctor's degree from Chongqing University.

1988 ~ 1990 as deputy head of science and technology of Shapingba district people's government of Chongqing;

199 1 year ~ 1992 as a visiting scholar at Wright state university;

1992 ~ 1996 served as vice president of Chongqing university, 1996 ~ 1997 served as president of Chongqing university, and later resigned as president due to the work needs of the national 863 plan expert group.

1997 ~ 2001March served as deputy head of the national 863/CIMS thematic expert group.

He is currently the director of the Institute of Manufacturing Systems Engineering of Chongqing University, the director of the Manufacturing Information Engineering Technology Center of Chongqing University, the deputy director of the School Affairs Committee of Chongqing University, the director of the Chongqing Manufacturing Informatization Productivity Promotion Center, and the director of the Chongqing Enterprise Informatization Technology Support Center.
