Juergen. Juergen Osterhammer, born in 1952, worked in the German History Institute in London and the University of Freiburg, and is now a professor of modern history at the University of Constance. He has published a large number of books on Eurasian history since18th century. His works include China and the World: From18th Century to Contemporary Age (awarded by German Historians Association), China Revolution:1Shanghai on May 30th, 925, Evolution of the World: A History of19th Century, etc. Juergen. Osterhammer won the Leibniz Prize and the Toynbee Prize in 20 10 and 20 16 respectively for his outstanding achievements in historical research.
