brief Introduction of the content

Starting from the19th century, the modern history of mankind is about to begin. This is an era of great political ideas, scientific "here", railways and industry, large-scale intercontinental migration and the first wave of economic and communication globalization, nationalism and the global expansion of European imperialism. But at the same time, in today's view,19th century has become distant and strange: a brilliant world yesterday. This book describes and analyzes this history from the perspective of world history, an era in which Europe, Asia, America and Africa experienced drastic changes and globalization was born. Juergen, former president of the International Historical Society? Cocker called this book "a milestone in German historical writing", and Osterhammer was also called "Braudel19th century".

Hit the floor ... an epic, exquisite and popular mosaic of the times. If this era, as a reaction, is based on the Enlightenment ... Extensive, full of weight, novel and unique, fascinating, all-encompassing, daunting ... even a long speech like mine is not enough to comprehensively and properly evaluate this book. Half monster, half master, it is inevitably restricted like those works of global historical types ... it stems from the author's amazing knowledge and perseverance; Within the scope of its theme, it will raise the academic complexity and geographical comprehensiveness of global history research to a new height; It is full of unforgettable phrases and aphorisms, representing a vivid and humorous spirit; In addition, it also provides a wisdom and original view on how19th century shaped our world today.
