Zhu Zhicheng (1910-1940)

Zhu Zhicheng, a revolutionary martyr in Xishe Village, Li Anmin, Xu Jing Township. After finishing primary school in my hometown, I entered Qingpu No.2 Commercial School to attend high school. After graduating from primary school, he was admitted to the rural normal colleges in Kunming, Jiaxing and Qingdao. In 22 years of the Republic of China (1933), I graduated from normal school and worked as a primary school teacher in my hometown Xishe, teaching seriously. For 24 years, he also served as the head of Xi 'an Township. When War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression broke out, Zhu Zhicheng joined the Anti-Japanese Self-Defense Forces led by Wang Shilong, served as the assistant to the director of the Eighth District Office, handled the general affairs of the Eighth District, founded a mobile primary school, and instilled patriotic anti-Japanese thoughts. Mature and steady, unsmiling and quick in writing, he publicized the war of resistance against the People's Dragon in the semi-monthly Wildfire. He once wrote an article "Questioning the Party", exposing the traitor's crime of his blatant accident. In the spring of 29 years, Zhu Zhicheng died in Shanghai. On April 2, he learned that Wang Shilong, the district chief, was unfortunately arrested. He went back with Zhu to prepare for the aftermath. On the 3rd, when he and Zhu crossed the Hejing Bridge on the River, they were ambushed on three sides by the enemy. Swimming retreat failed, unfortunately captured, tortured and interrogated, indomitable. He was killed by the enemy on April 9 at the age of 30.
