Xie Zhenhua (1916.9—2011.8), male, born in September 2006, is a native of Jiazi Village, Shangbao Township, Chongyi County, Jiangxi Province, with the rank of Major General. Former member of the Central Military Commission, political commissar of Kunming Military Region, deputy to the 9th, 10th, 12th and 13th National Congresses of China, alternate member of the 10th Central Committee, member of the 12th Central Committee and deputy to the 4th National People's Congress.

He was awarded the Second Class August 1st Medal, the Second Class Medal of Independence and Freedom, the First Class Medal of Liberation and the First Class Medal of Red Star Meritorious Service.

Comrade Xie Zhenhua died in Beijing on August 3, 20 1 1 at the age of 95.
