I. General situation of institutions

Shanghai Maritime University Library, formerly known as 19 12, was directly under the Ministry of Communications of the National Government, and is now located in Shanghai Lingang New Town Campus.

Is Moon's "Chengde Road" in our museum? The motto "Learn to help the world" has become a "knowledge palace" for scholars in the past century. The source of the idea? Humanization ",namely" knowledge innovation "? Chief intelligence officer? Industry think tank. Practice "all-round adaptation and innovation" through the road of "humanity, cooperation and research and development"? Educate people, actively promote the construction of maritime universities and actively serve maritime affairs? The "three missions" of the logistics industry are to cultivate talents with "soul, noble character, rich common sense, strong comprehensive ability and specialized skills".

The library consists of: resource and technology center, university student library and reader center, scientific and technological information research and consultation center, research library and office.

Relying on the institutions of the library: South Transfer Station of books donated to China by Japanese Science Association, Sci-tech Novelty Retrieval Workstation of Ministry of Education (G 12), Shanghai International Maritime Information Research Center, and Industry-University-Research Base of Port and Shipping Logistics of China Logistics Society.

The existing building area is 5 1.086 square meters, the library is 37 1.000 volumes, there are 1.62 electronic resource databases such as shipping, and there are more than 2,300 Chinese and foreign newspapers and periodicals. There are three maritime literature and information clusters, namely, ports, shipping, logistics, maritime law and policy, merchant shipping and marine science and engineering.
