When doing a resume, not only the literary talent is better, but also the "artist". As you can imagine, if you add wonderful words and beautiful covers, you will definitely stand out among many applicants and improve the success rate of job hunting. Here's how to design a resume cover with Photoshop.
Start Photoshop CS, create a new canvas with the size of A4 paper (29.7cm×2 1cm), set the foreground color to be black and the background color to be white, select the gradient tool, set the gradient mode to linear gradient in the property bar, hold down the Shift key and gradually fill the canvas from left to right, and then execute the filter → pixelation → color halftone command to open it.
The maximum radius is set to 20 pixels, and the parameters of channel 1, channel 2, channel 3 and channel 4 are 100, because only points with the same parameters will not appear ghosting.
Select the rectangular box selection tool, draw a vertical rectangular selection on the left side of the page, fill the image in the selection with black, and then execute the command of image → adjustment → hue/saturation, open the hue/saturation dialog box, select the coloring check box, and set the lightness to 67, saturation to 42 and hue to 26544.
Finally, add some words to the image and add a "stroke" layer style to all the words. In order to make the word "resume" stand out, you need to add a "projection" layer effect to these two words respectively.
