Shenzhou 5 (in English: Shenzhou- 14, also known as shenzhou XIV in English) is the 14 spacecraft launched for China's manned spaceflight project, and it is one of the components of China space station.
Shenzhou 14 manned mission is the second mission in the construction stage of China Space Station, and it is also the first manned mission in this stage. Astronauts work and live collectively in orbit for six months.
The main purpose of the mission is to cooperate with the rendezvous, docking and transposition of the space shuttle, the space shuttle and the core machine, and complete the on-orbit assembly and construction of the China Space Station.
Complete the installation and debugging of equipment inside and outside the space station and facilities related to space application tasks; Conducting space science and technology experiments; Carry out routine maintenance and other related work.
On June 5th, 2022 10: 44 Beijing time, the Long March II F- 14 carrier rocket carrying Shenzhou XIV manned spacecraft was ignited and launched at Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center. About 577 seconds later, the Shenzhou 14 manned spacecraft was successfully separated from the rocket and entered the scheduled orbit. The pilot was in good condition and the launch was successful.
On June 5, 2022 17: 42 Beijing time, the radiation port of Tianhe core cabin was successfully docked, and the whole docking process lasted about 7 hours.
At 7: 33 on October 30th, 20221Beijing time, 165438+ Shenzhou XIV crew welcomed three astronauts of Shenzhou XV to China Space Station to complete the "space rendezvous". At 20: 09 on February 4, 2022, the return capsule of Shenzhou 14 manned spacecraft landed successfully at Dongfeng landing site.
Shenzhou 14 spacecraft consists of 14 subsystem, including structure and machinery, thermal control, measurement and control, instrumentation and lighting, environmental control and life support subsystem.
Shenzhou XIV continues the three-module configuration of the shenzhou spaceship, which consists of three modules: the orbital module, the return module and the propulsion module.
Shenzhou spaceship has a total height of 9 meters, a take-off weight of more than 8 tons and a maximum diameter of 2.8 meters. At the top is the orbital module, which is also the living area of astronauts. Astronauts' on-orbit supporting equipment, including rendezvous and docking sensors, should be installed in the orbital module.
When the spacecraft runs alone, it is also the place where astronauts live. The main function of the orbital module is to carry many rendezvous and docking sensors, which are responsible for rendezvous and docking with the space station, and also provide an environment for astronauts to live and work in orbit during their independent flight.
