Neither. This was written by Wang Yinglin in the Song Dynasty. Wang Yinglin, whose name was Shen Ning lay man, was one of the representatives of East Zhejiang School in the late Southern Song Dynasty. He grew up in the background of the combination of the main road of the Southern Song Dynasty and the scholars of Xichun. He was deeply influenced by Lu Xinxue, especially Zhu Xinxue. He wrote many articles about Zhu's life. He himself was born in the field of erudition and macro-speech, and he was erudite and good at writing, forming an academic style characterized by writing essays, compiling predecessors' theories, and not saying enough. This is very close to the Lv Zuqian School in eastern Zhejiang at that time. It is similar to Yongjia school in terms of its emphasis on practical application and textual research on the system of taking history as a mirror. The above points determine the trend and pattern of his academic articles in his life, and are also the basic basis for us to discuss his literary achievements. He is a comprehensive academic successor of the Southern Song Dynasty and hundred schools of thought, but he does not have the sects like Zhu and Lu, nor the subtle understanding and unique experience like Zhen and Yang Jian. He is naturally familiar with Neo-Confucianism and various theories of psychology, but he does not necessarily have unique new inventions. From the category movement of Neo-Confucianism, especially the theory of mind and nature itself, this means the pause of the development of the history of thought. His overall academic style is more like Lv Zuqian's, and he is good at synthesizing literature and narrating old news. His works, such as "Confusing Moon Hee" and "Ci Poetry", all have this feature. Among them, careful textual research and mastery of ancient studies are of course his specialty, but a brief account of scholars and articles in the Song Dynasty, especially in the Southern Song Dynasty, is probably his greatest academic contribution.
