According to relevant records, Wanhua Building in Yulin was built in the Southern Song Dynasty (1 127- 1279), rebuilt in the early years of Jiaqing in Qing Dynasty (about 1798), and rebuilt in the 28th year of Daoguang (1848) for 65,438 years. It turned out to be a brick-wood tower, once the tallest building in the city, located on Tongtangling, a higher ground in the north of Yulin ancient city. Wanhua building has beautiful modeling, exquisite workmanship and stable structure, and has the function of climbing and viewing. Although it has been renovated and rebuilt many times in the past 900 years, it has always been one of the most exquisite and famous buildings in Yulin.
It is reported that the project will continue the architectural style of Wanhualou project, and adopt the way of repairing the old as the old, and transform about 4,000 meters of roads and 850 houses (about 6,543,800 square meters) on both sides of Beiluo Street, Wenyu Street, Dangzhou Avenue, Zhangwu Lane, Wu Yang Lane, Laoguan Lane, Huang Wu Lane, Orange Tree Lane and Wujiang Lane. The main construction contents include the protection and repair of ancient buildings.
