Ye Rongsi is 65 years old! Honorary President of china law society Energy Law Research Association, Consultant of China Electric Power Enterprise Association (former Vice Chairman), Adjunct Professor of East China University of Science and Technology (Law School). In 2002, he was awarded a special government allowance by the State Council for experts with outstanding contributions. Consultant to the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank.

He was in charge of the project "Research on the drafting ideas and framework of China's energy law" (the main project "Research on major issues in the early stage of energy law legislation") and won the first prize of outstanding achievements in soft science research of the National Energy Administration. Editor-in-chief has books such as China Energy Legal Research, China Energy Law Research Report 2008 and China Electric Power Industry Today, and has published dozens of papers and articles in more than ten national newspapers and periodicals. Since the reform and opening-up, the construction of energy rule of law has won the Excellence Award of Network Essay in Thirty Years of Rule of Law in China. He was hired as a consultant by the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank, and participated in the research and development of "Demonstration Power Purchase Agreement for Developing Countries (PPA)", "China Power Sector Reform Strategy" and "Compulsory Share System for Renewable Energy".
