The pilot will be in the air of 10000 feet, and take the height of 8500 feet as an imaginary runway to simulate the approach, landing and go-around process. The three actions should be done in one go, so as to build the confidence of the pilot to return to the field and land. After that, the plane returned to Pudong Airport and landed. At the last test point, the three-way operation inspection was carried out again to confirm that the rudder surface was not subjected to aerodynamic load after flight, and there was a big deviation.
This first flight will be accompanied by a plane, which is the first time in our civil aircraft test flight. The accompanying aircraft will enter the first flight airspace in advance and fly once along the first flight route to understand the meteorological conditions such as wind, temperature and cloud conditions at the first flight altitude to avoid dangerous weather affecting the flight.
The C9 19 first flight crew consists of five people. In addition to captain Cai Jun and co-pilot Wu Xin, a test flight observer was set up for the first time, with Qian Jin, chief pilot of Comac China and director of the test flight center, as an observer. Observers will sit behind the two drivers, observe and judge whether their operations are accurate and reasonable, and give guidance under special circumstances. The crew also includes two flight test engineers, Ma Fei and Zhang Dawei, who will sit in the cabin, record and explain the parameters of the airborne test system, and cooperate with the pilot to remind the pilot whether the flight test action is effective.
C9 19 has 729 flight test subjects. It is planned to complete 4,200 hours and 2,282 sorties, and put 6 aircraft into flight test for scientific research and evidence collection.
C9 19 large aircraft take off, and the landing gear is generally not closed for the first flight.
