Jin Zhenmin is from Longwan, Zhejiang. In February 2005, he was elected as an academician of China Academy of Sciences. He has been engaged in teaching and scientific research of structural geology for a long time. The upper mantle dynamics of rock rheology and rock deformation experiments under high temperature and high pressure are systematically studied, and some influential scientific research results at home and abroad are obtained. He has published 82 papers (1979-2003) and 3 cooperative works with others; SCI papers 18, EI papers 6, SCI papers 24 cited by others, and 46 Chinese papers cited by others 106.
