Image road
Jian Jiang walks alone on his image road. He used the most straightforward portrait method to record people and times, and he did more than just be realistic. Jian Jiang injected his warmth and thoughts into the rural life landscape that was meaningless to others, and described it with great patience and detail; In "Master", he created a statue of a farmer living in the Central Plains in the form of environmental portrait photography, supplemented by the description of environmental details with large depth of field, showing the realistic landscape in the living space of farmers.
Since August 2004, Jian Jiang has been exploring the field of history and memory. A year later, he finished a new documentary photography-The Archives of Orphans. Jian Jiang has been trying to make his image a public memory. His series of portraits have established precious archives of China's civil society and traditional culture, and are intuitive documents that can be used to interpret the living conditions of farmers in a certain area of China.
