He used to be secretary of Yuyao Municipal Committee and Party Group of the Communist Youth League, deputy secretary of Tang Di Town Party Committee and Secretary of Discipline Inspection Commission (bureau level), secretary of Xiaocaoe Town Party Committee and chairman of National People's Congress (concurrently), director of Yuyao Municipal Committee Office, director of Yuyao Municipal Committee Standing Committee, director of Yao Bei Industrial Park Management Committee, secretary of Xia Lang Street Party Committee, member of Ningbo Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection, secretary-general and director of general office, member of Haishu District Committee and deputy head of district (standing), and deputy secretary of Haishu District Committee, Ningbo Daily.

He is currently the deputy secretary and mayor of Cixi Municipal Committee.
