At present, he works in the College of Literature of Shandong Normal University, where he is a professor, a tutor for master students, a visiting scholar at new york University, and a member of China Aesthetic Society. The main academic research fields are the basic principles of aesthetics, aesthetic culture and contemporary literary criticism. He has published three academic works: Free Space and Aesthetic Discourse and China Fashion History.
He participated in the compilation of four books, such as Aesthetics and New Editions of Western Literary Theories, and published nearly 30 papers in academic journals, such as Literary Contention, Philosopher of Literature and History, and Tianjin Social Sciences. He presided over four social science projects of the Ministry of Education and Shandong Province, participated in three major projects of the National Social Science Fund, and the Ministry of Education funded three doctoral programs.
