Xu Yafei, male, Han nationality, was born in 1956 and 10, and his native place is Kaixian, Chongqing. Graduated from Sichuan Normal University, majoring in ideological and political education, bachelor of philosophy; In 2002, he graduated from the postgraduate class of Marxism and ideological and political education in Southwest Normal University. He has served as deputy secretary of the General Party Branch of the Department of Political History (presiding over the work), director of the Industrial and Commercial Office, director of the Academic Affairs Office, assistant to the dean, and deputy secretary of the Party Committee. During this period, he studied in Peking University, Tsinghua University, Renmin University of China, National School of Education Administration and Australian TEFER College.

He is currently the secretary of the Party Committee, professor of ethics and tutor of master students of Chongqing Three Gorges University.
