Bi Mingjian participated in the establishment of CIC, was the first employee of CIC, and was also the head of the investment banking department of CIC.

During the period of 1997, China Mobile (hereinafter referred to as "China Telecom") was the first large-scale state-owned enterprise listed overseas in China, and it was also the first large-scale project after the establishment of CICC. The technical operation of the entire investment bank consultant is dominated by Bi Mingjian.

Bi Mingjian has worked in CICC for more than ten years. He has served as the company's vice president, member of the management Committee, acting chairman of the management Committee, co-director of the investment banking department, joint operation director and senior management consultant. After leaving CICC, Bi Mingjian worked in the World Bank, China Construction Bank, Hopu Investment and other financial institutions.

Bi Mingjian once studied agricultural issues in the World Bank.

In June 2000, the board of directors of CICC approved the resignation of the fourth president, Elaine Ruoshi, and decided that CICC should be managed by the management committee led by Bi Mingjian. The members of the management committee include Bi Mingjian, Huang, Xu Xiaonian, Wu Shangzhi, Zhu and Huo Kang. In 2002, Zhu became the president, and Bi Ming was established as the "No.2 person" of the company.

At the end of 2005, Bi Mingjian resigned and left CICC. In recent years, he joined Hopu Investment Management Company and became one of its three partners.
