Liu Tongxun:

Yan Qing, whose real name is Chun Er, is from Zhucheng, Shandong. In Yongzheng, he was a scholar, and in the first year of Qianlong, he was a bachelor of cabinet. He is the father of Ji Xiaolan's good friend Liu Yong (Shi An).

Liuyong:

Liu Yong, a Confucian-worshiper, is the eldest son of Liu Tongxun, a university student in Dongge. He is four years older than Ji Xiaolan, and he is a janitor. He was brilliant since he was a child.

Liu Yong was born in the Liu family in Zhucheng, Shandong Province. Grandfather Liu Zhuo (qǐ) was a famous minister in the Kangxi Dynasty, and his father Liu Tongxun was a famous minister. He is a college student and minister of military affairs in Dongge, and he is upright and resolute. Emperor Qianlong said that he was "prepared for danger in times of peace, tough in nature, won the reputation of an ancient minister, and never lost his integrity all his life."

In the thirty-fourth year of Qianlong (1769), Liu Yong, aged 5 1 year, was awarded the magistrate of Jiangning. In the forty-seventh year of Qianlong, Liu Yifeng was transferred back to Beijing as an imperial adviser of Zuodu, and was ordered to go to the south study room. In the second year of Jiaqing, Liu Yong was awarded a bachelor's degree in Renge.

On December 25th, Jiaqing 9th, Liu Yong died at his home in Shilu Hutong, Beijing, at the age of 86.

Little Shenyang, who was not famous, later became the reading officer of palace examination, the highest level exam in the imperial examination, and served as the president of many ancient books such as Sikuquanshu.

This errand provided opportunities for Xiao Shenyang to approach Qianlong frequently, which was an important turning point in Xiao Shenyang's life.
