Puccini's third opera, Manon Leiskow, premiered on 1893 and was a great success. It links Puccini Giacomao's works with Puccini's playwrights Luigi Illica and Giuseppe Giacosa. They collaborated in the next three operas, which later became Puccini's most famous works. These three operas are:

Bohemian: It is considered as one of Puccini's most successful works and one of the most legendary operas in history.

Tosca: It actually depicts different aspects of real life (including violence), which can be said to be Puccini's first realistic work. Because of its many important features, it is considered as one of the most important works in history.

Madame Butterfly: At first it was hostile (mostly from opponents), but after several performances, it is now considered as one of Puccini's most successful works. There are fewer and fewer Puccini's works after 1904. Because of his love for racing, he almost died in a car accident in 1903. Giacosa died in 1906, and then a scandal broke out in 1909, because his wife Avella falsely accused their maid doria Manfredi of having an affair with Puccini, which later led to the maid's suicide. Avila was successfully sued by Manfredi's family, so Puccini must pay compensation. Reggiodi, Puccini's publisher, died in 19 12, which also ended Puccini's prolific playwright career.

Puccini finished Girls in the West on 19 10, and then finished La Langding on 19 17. This is Puccini's re-created operetta, but he found it incompatible with his style and talent. Il Trittico premiered in new york in 19 18. This work consists of three parts. The first one is "Il Tabarro", which belongs to the style of terrible big Niol; The second part is Sister Angelica, which is a touching tragedy. The third is the comedy Gianni Schicchi. Gianni Schicchi is the most popular of the three parts, including the famous aria: Dear Dad.
