The institute has a research and development team composed of researchers and senior engineers, a postdoctoral research center, mainly engaged in the research, development and application of integrated electronic information system engineering and its basic technologies, and has three national key laboratories. It has R&D platforms such as National Integrated Circuit Design Center, Russian New Technology R&D Center, CLP Technology Group Floating Platform R&D Center, Anhui Automotive Electronics Engineering Research Center, Anhui Public Safety Information Technology Key Laboratory, Anhui Beidou Satellite Navigation Key Laboratory, Hefei Public Safety Technology Research Institute and two postdoctoral research centers.
