Emomali rakhmon (Tajik: эмомалиира? мон, formerly known as Emomali Rakhmonov (момал? Шарифович Ра? монов), 1952 10.5 Kulob-), a politician in Tajikistan, has been the president of Tajikistan since 1992.

Biographical notes

Rakhmonov 1972-1974 served in the Soviet Pacific Fleet, 1982 graduated from the National University of Tajikistan, majoring in economics, once served as the director of Lenin Farm in Dangala District, Buzhou, Kulia, and 1987+0992 was elected as the representative of the Supreme Soviet people. 1October 6th 1994, 165438, Rakhmonov was elected President of Tajikistan,1October 6th 1999, 165438 was re-elected, and was elected for the third time in 2006.

On March 22, 2007, Rakhmonov announced that he had decided to remove the Slavic suffix -ov from his name and rename it "Rakhmonov". On March 28th, its official spokesman said that this was only rakhmon's personal behavior, not a national compulsory policy.
