Introduction to Mao
Mao, a famous dancer in China, was born in Zhejiang, 1935. 195 1 started dancing. 1956 studied choreography and education in the drama department of Prague Conservatory of Music, Czech Republic. 1958 After returning to China, he successively served as Yunnan Song and Dance Troupe, Lanzhou Military Region Song and Dance Troupe and Beijing. Member of Chinese Dancers Association, representative of the 4th National Cultural Congress, first vice chairman of Gansu Dancers Association.

Mao is a famous contemporary dancer in China. Personal biographies are included in 198 1 Dictionary of China Artists and 1986 Dictionary of Chinese and Foreign Celebrities.

Mao's representative works: The film Ashima won the Dance Film Award at the International Film Festival, and the TV series Dance to the Journey to the West, Catch the Swing, Goddess of Luck (original Guanyin with a Thousand Hands), Embroidered Gold Monument, Awa People Singing New Songs, Youth Friendship Waltz, Jingpo Knife Dance, etc. And created nearly 100 dance works.
