Ms Xu Xinru's mother comes from a family of traditional Chinese medicine. Her great-grandfather was a local Chinese medicine practitioner in Jiangsu Province. Self-collected Chinese herbal medicines and insect drugs are mainly used in the operation, which is very popular among patients. Grandfather Jiang studied with Fei Baixiong, a contemporary famous doctor, and was good at febrile diseases and gynecological diseases. My uncle Jiang Yuepu studied Chinese medicine with his grandfather and practiced medicine independently. Both of them were famous doctors in Jiangnan area at that time. After liberation, Jiang Yuepu was employed by Nanjing College of Traditional Chinese Medicine to participate in the preparation of the hospital. Her mother Jiang Yuqing is very knowledgeable in medicine. After her grandfather lost his sight due to eye disease, her mother copied the prescription for her grandfather in the clinic. However, because she was born in 1889, she was unable to formally practice medicine because of secular influence, and she only treated villagers and their families and was widely praised. For generations, hanging pots have been deeply loved by people, and had a far-reaching impact on childhood Xu Xinru. Today, Professor Xu Xinru still keeps the medical records and handwritten prescriptions of his predecessors. In 1950s, Comrade Mao Zedong wrote an inscription for the first national conference on health work: "Unite medical and health workers in all parts of China and the West, old and new, form a consolidated United front, and strive for the great people's health work". In response to the call of Chairman Mao of the CPC Central Committee that "Western medicine should learn Chinese medicine and Chinese medicine should be improved", Xu Xinru, who was born in a family of Chinese medicine, naturally listened to the leadership's instructions and attended the first off-the-job training class of Western medicine and Chinese medicine in Beijing from 1959 to196/kloc-0, and systematically studied the theory of Chinese medicine for three years. 196 1 After graduation, I stayed in Beijing Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Ms. Xu Xinru graduated from a western medicine college in China and engaged in clinical work of western medicine. She is the first expert who systematically studies Chinese medicine and develops the cause of Chinese medicine. Professor Xu Xinru has been a doctor for more than 50 years, and has two theoretical foundations: traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine. He worked in the internal medicine department of a general hospital for seven years before studying Chinese medicine systematically. After studying Chinese medicine, I have been engaged in clinical medical treatment and scientific research teaching of Chinese medicine and integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine in the internal medicine and cardiovascular department of a Chinese medicine hospital. He is the academic leader, chief physician, postgraduate tutor of the Cardiovascular Department of Beijing Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and the instructor of the national experience inheritance of old Chinese medicine experts.
