Personnel of the Tibet Armed Police Force can leave Tibet to work in their hometown after the construction period, or they can continue to work in Tibet.

The Xizang Autonomous Region Corps of the Chinese People's Armed Police Force, referred to as "Armed Police Tibet Corps" for short, is under the centralized and unified leadership of the CPC Central Committee and the Central Military Commission, and implements the leadership and command system of the Central Military Commission, the Armed Police Force and the armed forces.
