The migration of Laixing people to southern provinces is widely spread at home and abroad. In the fourth year of Dong Jin 'an (AD 400), he moved to Yayuan (now Changsha, Hunan Province), then moved to Qiuxi and Shicheng in Qianzhou, and moved to Shibi City, Tian Xin, Ninghua County, Tingzhou, Fujian Province in the Song Dynasty. In the second year of Ming Hongwu (1369), he moved to Gezhushe, Pinghe County, Zhangzhou. In addition, according to legend, in the Eastern Jin Dynasty, a man named Lai Zhongjie was appointed as the governor of Chuzhou (now Lishui, Zhejiang). His grandson Lai Shuo and others moved westward to Jiangxi and settled in Yang Du, the former state, where his descendants developed and multiplied. At the end of the Tang Dynasty, this lai xing people, headed by Lai Youde, entered Fujin from Ningdu along Shicheng and settled in Changting, then moved to Gutian, Liu Qing, Ninghua, Yongding and Liancheng in Shanghang, and further moved to Tai Po, Meizhou and Xingning in Guangdong during the Ming and Qing Dynasties, which was also a tribe with great influence south of lai xing.
In addition, according to the data of Fu Zong's Kinship Association in Luo Lai, Taichung, lai xing people living in Songyang were divided into seven branches because Lai Can had seven sons in the late Northern and Southern Dynasties, two of whom stayed in Songyang and the other five moved to Jiangxi. Some people who stayed in Songyang later moved to Fujian and settled in Tingzhou, Ninghua, Shanghang, Yongding, Yoshida, Yanping, Yong 'an, Nanjing, Zhao 'an, Pinghe, Chengxiang, Tai Po, Raoping and Jieyang in Guangdong. Based on the records of all kinds of genealogical data mentioned above, we can know that lai xing people who originally lived in the birthplace or Yingchuan County began to move south around the Eastern Jin Dynasty, settled in Songyang, Zhejiang Province, and then spread to Nankang County, and developed to Jiangxi, Fujian, Hunan, Guangdong and other provinces with Songyang and Nankang as the center, scattered in many counties and towns, thus making lai xing one of the most popular surnames in the south. According to another record, in the forty-two years of Qianlong (1778), a man named Lai Yonghan moved to Zhongfangliao Street in the county, and since then, he has also developed and multiplied in the local area. In addition, according to Dehua's Hou Qing Lai Family Tree, eight people, including Lai Zu from Dongyang School in Xia Yong County, settled in Sanjiachun of Changhua Hospital for a short trip to Taiwan Province Province. Generally speaking, Laixing people who moved to Taiwan Province Province from the mainland coast mainly came from Zhangzhou and Quanzhou counties in southern Fujian, followed by Raoping, Tai Po, Jieyang and Ninghua in Fujian. Among them, after moving to Taiwan Province Province, Minnan people lived in Shalu, Lugang, Qingshui, Tainan and Kaohsiung, while Guangdong Laixing people settled in northern and central Taiwan Province Province, such as Hsinchu, Miaoli, Taoyuan and Taichung.
