The college, formerly known as Nanyang University, was established at the end of 1986 to meet the needs of Nanyang's scientific and technological progress and talent strategy. At the end of 1992, it was formally approved by the State Education Commission and was named Nanyang Institute of Technology. In May 2004, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, Nanyang Technological University was upgraded to the Academy of Sciences, which is an ordinary undergraduate university with the coordinated development of engineering, management, literature, science, law, medicine, economics and teaching.

Nanyang Normal University

Nanyang normal University, founded in 1907, has a history of one hundred years and is a provincial full-time undergraduate institution of higher learning. Its predecessor was Nanyang Teachers College, which was built in 1907 and was founded by Juren. It passed through Nanyang government public elementary school Simple Normal School, Nanyang County Normal School and Nanyang County Simple Rural Normal School. /kloc-at the beginning of 0/945, the Japanese army invaded Nanyang, the school was closed, and it resumed after the Japanese army surrendered. The College was founded in April of 1973 and 1979 and moved to Nanyang City, Henan Province. 1994 and 2000 were rated as national key secondary specialized schools twice. In 2000, the school merged with Luoyang Ordnance Industry Workers College, and was upgraded to higher vocational and technical college in April 20001.

Nanyang medical college

Nanyang Health School and Zhang Zhongjing National Medical College merged with the approval of the Ministry of Education in May 2004 and were upgraded to Nanyang Medical College. Among them, Nanyang Health School was founded in1951; Nanyang Zhang Zhongjing College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (formerly Zhang Zhongjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine) was founded in 1985.

Nanyang Radio and TV University

Nanyang Radio and TV University, founded in 1979, is an institution of higher learning approved by the provincial and municipal governments. It is the intermediate link of the Central Radio and TV University, and it is a comprehensive open university that adopts modern electronic information technology for modern distance education.
