Introduce Huo Qubing
Huo Qubing (BC 140 ~ BC 165438+ 07 BC) and Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty (BC 140 ~ 88 BC) were famous, and their contributions were mainly against the Huns. He was the nephew of General Wei Qing. Later, because of his brilliant military exploits, he was as good as his uncle, and finally even surpassed him. The child of mother Wei is the sister of Wei Zifu, the queen of Emperor Wu of Han Dynasty. Because of the royal family, Huo Qubing was very popular with the emperor at the age of 18, and became a servant in the palace.

Huo Qubing is very good at riding and shooting. In BC 123, he went to the north with the general Wei Qing to attack the Huns. He led 800 elite cavalry to leave the big army for hundreds of miles to pursue the Huns, and finally eliminated 2028 people including Khan's grandfather, captured Khan's uncle alive, and was named champion Hou after the war.

In BC 12 1 year, Huo Qubing was promoted to a title of generals in ancient times, led 10,000 cavalry out of Longxi, crossed Yanqi Mountain (now southeast of Shandan, Gansu, west of China) for more than 1,000 miles, killed King Zhelan, captured alive the son of the evil king of Xiongnu, and destroyed 8,000 enemies. In the summer of the same year, Huo Qubing once again left Longxi and Beidi for more than 2,000 miles, crossed Yanze, captured Qilian Mountain, captured the Emirates King Tu alive, arrested and beheaded more than 30,000 people, surrendered 2,500 people, and lost less than three tenths of himself. The war of annihilation dealt a heavy blow to the right of Xiongnu.

In the autumn of that year, Huns Khan was very dissatisfied with the repeated defeats and heavy losses of the evil king of Huns. In a rage, he planned to kill the evil king of Huns. King Xie Hun negotiated with King Xiutu and surrendered to the Han Dynasty. Worried about their false surrender, Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty sent Huo Qubing to meet them. Huo Qubing crossed the Yellow River and approached Xie Hun's army, but some people in Xie Hun changed their minds after seeing the Han army and fled. Huo Qubing rushed to the camp of the evil king of Xiongnu to discuss with him, and finally killed 8,000 people who refused to surrender. Finally, the evil king of Xiongnu led more than 40,000 people to the Han Dynasty. The evil king of Xiongnu and others were named Hou by Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty.

The success of Huo Qubing's surrender finally brought long-term stability to Hexi region, and the Han Dynasty opened the road to the western regions. According to local customs, the Han Dynasty established five subordinate countries, and later established four counties, Wuwei, Zhangye, Jiuquan and Dunhuang, which strengthened the control of this area.

Because Xiongnu Khan wanted to fight, but failed to defend himself, he blamed Xie Hun and Xiutu. In autumn, the two kings decided to surrender to Han. Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty even cheated soldiers and ordered Huo Qubing to ride to surrender. Huo Qubing is still on the road, and the King of Soil Repair has broken his word. The evil Attila is anxious to assassinate the King of Soil Repair and incorporate his army. Shocked by the sudden change of the war situation, Huo Qubing resolutely led the army to cross the river, making the whole army advance in front of more than 40,000 Xiongnu soldiers. At this time, many people in the evil king's department of Xiongnu who had no sincerity to surrender to Han fled in succession, and the camp was in turmoil, which was very likely to collapse. Huo Qubing made a decisive decision. Pegasus jumped into the evil king of Xiongnu, seized the evil king of Xiongnu, and stabilized the various parts of Xiongnu. After deliberation, he ordered the Xiongnu Evil King to slay 8,000 crisis officers and soldiers, sent someone to escort the Xiongnu Evil King to Chang 'an, and led tens of thousands of Xiongnu soldiers to return home in triumph. In the Han Dynasty, the Huns who joined the army were placed near Guansai in Longxi and other five counties, and a frontier fortress was built along Qilian Mountain to Yanze (now Lop Nur, Xinjiang). Wuwei and Zhangye counties, Jiuquan and Dunhuang are located in the original residences of the King of Soil Repair and the Evil King of Xiongnu, which not only further isolated the Xiongnu, but also opened the way to the Western Regions.

In BC 1 17, Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty took advantage of the Huns' contempt for the Han Dynasty and dared not go deep into combat, and ordered Wei Qing and Huo Qubing to command 50,000 cavalry, plus 40,000 war horses, hundreds of thousands of infantry and trench soldiers to attack the Huns respectively. Starting from Dai Jun, Huo Qubing captured Attila, King Koryo, eighty-three generals, Guo Xiang, Danghu and a surname alive, and wiped out more than 70,000 people. Huo Qubing therefore sealed 5,800 households and made General Fu a title of generals in ancient times. His position is the same as that of his uncle Wei Qing, but his power exceeds that of Wei Qing. As a result, many people in Wei Qing took refuge in Huo Qubing.

Huo Qubing has his own way of fighting, unwilling to fight according to the ancient art of war, and paying attention to reality. Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty wanted to teach his grandson and Wuqi the art of war, but he said that the use of troops depends on specific strategies, and the battle plan should be decided according to the situation, not just the art of war. Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty wanted to build a mansion for him, but said, "Huns are immortals and have no home." So it was very popular with Emperor Wu.

Huo Qubing takes the lead and likes to be a pioneer. But after all, he grew up in the palace, with more aristocratic habits and not enough sympathy for foot soldiers. When he was outside the Great Wall, the soldiers lacked food and hunger, but he played football for fun. Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty once gave dozens of cars to the imperial court for dinner during an expedition. But when Huo Qubing returned home in triumph, he threw away a lot, while the soldiers were still starving.

Two years later, Huo Qubing died at the age of 24. Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty held a grand funeral for him. Armored officers and men lined up to escort the coffin to the east of Maoling and buried it in a tall grave shaped like Qilian Mountain. In front of the tomb, there is a 14 large round stone carving erected by Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty in recognition of his meritorious service. Write its motto: "Since the Huns are extinct, why should we be at home!" Li Bai's Yuefu poem "Hu Nobody" wrote: "The wind blows the frost and the seaweed dries up, but the muscles are dry and the muscles are fine and proud." Han Jiabing, 300,000, is the general and leader of Huo Piao Yao. The shooting star is inserted in the white waist, and the sword flower and autumn lotus are light out of the box. Mountain soldiers are shining under Xueyu Pass, and tiger swords shoot golden armor like sand. All the dragons and tigers return, and the white moon can destroy the enemy. "
