The film documentary "Good Life" records the glorious deeds of overseas Chinese leader's good life and reflects the real life of this 90-year-old man. The whole documentary is 82 minutes long and took nearly two years to shoot. The film selected several most representative examples, trying to reflect Shan Sheng's great contribution to the country and people all his life.
The film uses realistic techniques, reveals the true feelings of family and friends, tells the patriotic feelings of Mr. Shan Sheng in the form of situational dialogue, vividly depicts the process of his study abroad and hard struggle, and tells the touching story that Shan Sheng has lived abroad for many years, always caring about his motherland and hometown, actively advocating the reunification of the motherland according to law, donating cultural relics and supporting the construction of his hometown through education.
The documentary has a strong creative lineup. In addition to director Zhang Jianya, who is the leader of the fifth generation of directors in China, photographer Jiang Shenfeng is one of the photographers of Cedebale, and lighting engineer Xu Shiming is the winner of the Golden Bell Award. As for music, the famous musician Howie B was invited. He is a member of the famous band U2 and the music producer of movie star Madonna.

Shan Sheng, born in Taizhou, Jiangsu Province, 1929 was born in Shanghai. His father Shan Yuhua is a well-known lawyer in Shanghai.
